Plastic Cartridges with Screw-On Nozzles

CRL Palmer SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® is a low VOC compliant, solvent-free adhesive mastic formulated for adhering plate glass mirror and acrylic mirror to various substrates, such as drywall, wood, glass, metal, and tile. SuperSet is ideal for large mirrored walls, columns, vanities, and high traffic areas like fitness centers, dance studios, elevators, and commercial projects. It cures to a strong permanent bond that will not shrink or become hard and brittle with age. SuperSet absorbs normal vibrations and will allow for movement due to thermal changes. Packaged in plastic cartridges with screw-on nozzles (additional nozzles Cat. No. S1LN0Z), and it has a 10 month shelf life from date of manufacture. SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® may be used with CRL Category II Safety Tape Film that has been washed with a 70% solution of isopropyl alcohol (IPA). All applications must have permanent bottom support and mechanical fasteners. Palmer SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® also qualifies for LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ credit.

Coverage: Approximately 20 square feet (1.9 square meters) per cartridge
Application temperature: 59 to 95ºF (15 to 35ºC)
Clean up: Tools can be cleaned with methylethylketone(MEK) or acetone before full curing of the sealant. After curing, abrasion is necessary.
Shelf life: 10 months on an unopened cartridge.
Cure time: >2 mm/24 h @ 73.4ºF (23ºC) and 50% HR

Note importanti:

Test before using any mastic! Always follow Palmer's directions and warnings on the cartridge and Technical Data Sheet. Do not apply SuperSet to a painted surface, wall covering or treated wood. Support mirror at the bottom. Mechanical fasteners must be used for all mirror applications such as CRL Mirror Clips, or CRL Mirror Mounting Tape. Apply both double-sided mirror mounting tape and mastic at room temperature following directions on each package. If the directions do not cover conditions at hand, consult CRL Technical Sales. It is the users responsibility to determine the mastic's suitability to a particular application. CRL cannot guarantee materials against mirror spoilage. For ceiling mirror installations refer to the Important Notes section of PM201GL or PM205 mastic in cans. For any questions regarding the use of mastics, contact CRL Technical Sales.
